Curriculum

At Parigyan, our curriculum is based on the idea that each child is a unique individual. Our focus is on meeting each child’s communication, language skills, personal, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and educational needs. We follow a theme based curriculum in which different topics are taught throughout the academic year. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning. Our main methodology is play way method that help children to play, explore and learn through joyful and successful experiences.

Classrooms are arranged to offer challenging play, explore and learn experiences and it includes a wide range of developmental levels. These provide children the opportunity to explore, improve problem solving skills, investigate, work together as a team and achieve something new every day. Children are exposed to group works and individual tasks every day.

Our thematic-based curriculum focuses on reading, writing, language, math, science, social studies, art, music, and physical fitness activities. Teachers and administrators spend time listening and talking to children helping kids reflect on their daily learning. The positive interactions between teachers and students encourage the development of emotional, linguistic and social skills leading to personality development. With a range of child-centred activities and a warm, safe, and nurturing environment, children of Parigyan focus on:

  • Social and emotional development to foster a child’s sense of self, enhance his or her ability to make friends, and create openness to learning.
  • Physical development to strengthen large and small muscles, co-ordinate movement, and improve overall health and growth.
  • Creative expression and aesthetic development to foster a child’s appreciation for arts, music, movement, dramatic play, and visual arts.
  • Cognitive development to promote intellectual growth. When children use their language, literacy, mathematical and scientific thinking, it helps to improve cognitive skills like to think, problem solving, to communicate and they start exploring the world.
